Seems to me the crab fire agate has been evolving - this is a more recent purchase and I think it is stunning . It is lighter in color - it is semi-translucent and is white with an apricot color and a bit of pale pink ( think this one is a lighter color than shown in the picture - it really appears to be almost white with a blush of apricot ). I think it looks like baby dragon skin - looks so soft with little sort of scale shapes .When you hold it to the light it seems to glow from within . It is drilled front to back at the top of the bead and measures 45mm x 30mm and is 8mm thick .
