To be honest , I am not sure what this stone is - could be jasper , agate or maybe aventurine . I think the color looks like red aventurine . This bead is very cool - one side and the edges have been polished and the other side is natural ( looks like it has been tumbled just a bit ) . It has shades of orange from dark to light . It is drilled front to back at the top ( big hole ) and measures 68mm x 45mm and is 10mm thick .
