This pendant bead has a neat shape - it is a marquise shape with a ridge lengthwise down the middle so it is deeper in the middle than the edges. It has such a neat pattern - kind of a swirled banded pattern in shades of light reddish brown and cream . It is drilled lengthwise through the bead and measures 40mm x 20mm and is 8mm thick ( in the middle - 4mm at the edge ).
