This bead is really neat . It is semi-translucent - one half is red with almost purple and golden yellow and the other half is white with some red ( seems to be made of tiny dots ). I don't know what kind of jasper it is ( it came on a strand that said " mixed jasper " ) but it is just wonderful . It is drilled lengthwise through the bead and measures 36mm x 25mm and is 6mm thick .
